Nolen Miller

NOLEN MILLER

Hospital Business Director

Nolen grew up surrounded by the veterinary industry, working alongside his father, Dr. Kurt Miller, at Winnetka Animal Hospital. He later earned a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and Microbiology from the University of Vermont, and began working at WAH full time in 2017. When Nolen is not drawing blood from the wigglest of patients, he loves getting outside, listening to music, and cooking with his wife and exuberant Boston Terrier Bud and comical Lab Jerry. As a diehard Blackhawks fan, Nolen continues to add to the collection of Blackhawks bobbleheads in our lab.

Francee Nachbar

FRANCEE NACHBAR

Francee has been in customer service and the veterinary field since 1986. She joined the WAH family in 2010 and is the cornerstone of our CSR staff.  Francee received her Bachelors of Science from Arizona State University but her true calling was helping animals. She expands upon that by being heavily involved with Chicagoland Lab Rescue. When Francee is not happily greeting our clients and patients, she enjoys as much time near the water as possible. She shares this time with her husband, son, her sassy Rottweiler/Lab Mix, Presley, her silly Doberman Mix, Comet, and her Lab/Shepherd Mix, Star.

Bryanna Lange

BRYANNA LANGE

Bry’s path to veterinary medicine began while working in a human ER. Desiring to work with animal rather than human patients, she received a Veterinary Assistant’s Certification from the Milwaukee Career College in 2016 and has been working in the veterinary field ever since She joined the WAH team in 2019 as one of our Fear Free Certified team members. When not on the job, Bry enjoys going to concerts, music festivals, camping with her husband, and spending time with her two extremely outgoing Abyssian cats, Pablo and Percy.

Jenn Sabre

JENN SABRE

Jenn knew from an early age that veterinary medicine was her passion. Her drive to help animals continued through college, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences for the University of Illinois-Chicago. She joined the WAH family in 2019 and has been working in the field since 1985. Jenn is drawn toward helping our more nervous patients, striving to make them more comfortable each time they come in. Jenn has two grown sons and two rescue pups, Milo, a chill Chihuahua, and Freddie, a clown of a Pitbull/Shar Pei mix. When Jenn is off the clock you can find her enjoying nature, good food, and better music.

Rachel Glass

Rachel Glass

Ray always knew working with animals was in her future but wasn’t sure when or how. She has gained experience providing in-home pet care as well as being an Asst. Manager at a nearby boarding facility. In 2022, Ray joined the team at WAH as a CSR, and in 2023 transitioned to the technician team. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Comedy Writing & Performing and brings a level of humor to her WAH family. When not on the job, she enjoys baking, (breads in particular) and hanging out with her Boxer Mix, King.

Moika Long

Moika Long

Moika has been in the animal industry since 2015, enjoying puppy playtime at doggie day cares. She began her career in the veterinary field upon joining the WAH family in 2021 as a CSR. Moika has been a volunteer at local rescues doing anything from clerical to kennel assistance. She has also been a foster pup mom to many but has since stopped as the risk of being a “foster failure” became overpowering. When she is not working, Moika enjoys quiet time watching her favorite show and sharing that time with her 2 fun-loving Chihuahuas, Harley and Little Girl.

Grace Leonard

Grace Leonard

After starting in the animal care field as a dog walker, Grace knew that veterinary medicine was in her future. Upon earning a Master’s Degree in Gerontology from Northeastern Illinois University, she began her career in the veterinary field in 2019. She was welcomed to WAH in 2022 as one of our Fear Free Certified technicians. She has a fondness for every cat that comes through the clinic doors and is always working at putting our high-stress patients at ease. When not fawning over felines at work, Grace is admiring her sassy Torti cat, Flea, reading, and freelance writing.
