10 Annual PAWS Chicago Fur Ball

Dr. Kurt Miller and his wife Julie Bradbury Miller are co-chairs of the 10th Annual PAWS Chicago Fur Ball. Held at the Drake Hotel on Friday, November 11th, 2011, the Fur Ball is Chicago’s only pet-friendly black tie gala!
More than 750 guests, many escorted by their canine companions, will enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing. Lucky dogs in attendance will be treated to a doggie buffet, animal communicator and dog spa, complete with an animal masseuse. Human companions will enjoy a raffle as well as silent and live auctions with one-of-a-kind items, dinner buffet, music and dancing.
PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) Chicago is the city’s largest No Kill humane organization, focused on implementing solutions to end the killing of homeless pets. Since PAWS Chicago’s founding in 1997, the number of homeless dogs and cats killed annually has dropped more than 50 percent. PAWS Chicago is working to build a No Kill Chicago—a city where pets are no longer destroyed just because they are homeless. Funds raised from events like the Fur Ball support the essential work of PAWS Chicago.
